Harvest of the Month

Harvest of the Month is a program sponsored by Frederick MD Farm to School and Community FARE to promote seasonal eating, encourage healthy diets, and support the local economy.

This year, due to COVID-19, we have the opportunity to work with dietetic interns from the University of Maryland as part of their practical rotations. They are helping to create virtual content, advocate for public policy that supports food education and access to nutritious food, and develop educational materials to make Farm to School accessible from home.
